Meet Lei, a Language Specialist at Odyssey. Lei is a native Mandarin speaker with extensive teaching experience and effective child communication skills. Lei’s career has centered around Art Education and Mandarin Teaching with a focus on engaging, child-centered methodologies.
Lei describes herself as an ‘experienced educator and devoted mother with exceptional skills and refined taste in both language and art disciplines’.
Lei is excited by the blend of Eastern and Western education philosophies, enabling Children at Odyssey Marylebone to ‘develop a global mindset while experiencing joyful learning, fostering a deeper appreciation for Eastern culture and the arts’.
Archie
Music Specialist
Archie is a passionate musician and educator with a First-Class degree and Starred Award from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. He has worked extensively as a songwriter, producer, and performer across London, creating music for himself and other artists, and mentoring young creatives through the Skarkbek Songwriting Academy. Archie also has experience as a private tutor, developing a gentle, encouraging approach that helps children feel confident exploring music.
At Odyssey, Archie is dedicated to introducing children to the joy and wonder of music in a playful and inspiring environment. He believes in nurturing a lifelong relationship with music from an early age, supporting children to develop creativity, confidence, and an appreciation for the power of sound. Archie is excited to join a setting that values high-quality, child-centred learning and to be part of each child’s musical journey.

Eve
Art Specialist
Eve has joined the Odyssey team with a passion for exposing children to the joy of art at the youngest age. She has a bachelor of fine art from Goldsmiths University, and spent specific research time during her studies focussing on how art supports children with special educational needs.
Eve is an expert at adjusting each session to support the specific needs of each age group. She is mindful to always ensure that every interaction with art, is engaging, positive and supportive to each child. When not at Odyssey, you will find Eve as an Invigilator at Phillips Auctioneers, and various other art galleries around London.
